04 Accord engine removal out the top or bottom? I have removed everything from the engine bay and unhooked everything. It looks to me that removing the engine by lifting it out is much easier. On old accord out the bottom is best.

 

I don't know for 100%, but by looking at my dad's k20 accord you should be able to remove the hood and pull it straight out. Are you sure you removed and unhooked everything in the FSM?

 

Got the motor out tonight. I took it out through the top. The only thing that I forgot were 2 little mounts on the transmission. But it came out very easy.
