How many times has it been down? I noticed you have aftermarket fairings on it.

 

I just bought the bike in August 2002, it only had 1900 miles or so. I've never downed it, and Riva Yamaha never told me it was downed either. I've taken all the fairings off and cleaned the whole bike and did not notice any evidence of it being droped.

As far as the fairings go, I didn't/don't know they are aftermarket. I know the decals were taken off, I figured it was for looks?

If they are aftermarket how can you tell?

kinda like the honda f4i now that the 600RR is coming?

 

The YZF600R was their front line 600 from 96-98 until the R6 came out in '99. I like these bikes, they have less of a hard edge compared to R6's
