My boys 95 CX hatchback with an internally stock b18c1 and bolt-ons only ran 13.4 on a set of slicks.
I don't know about VAFC settings, Cam Gear, or FPR. Your best bet would be some dyno time and tuning.

try learning to drive first.
A crappy Z6in a 5g HB with a 55 shot on slicks will run 13.9's all day long.
Driving + Tuning = making DOHC owners very unhappy.

I would have to agree...my boy has a 93 hatch LS, ITR pistons, an AFC and an FPR runnin 13.9's. Tuning will solve your problems (or at least it should)
here is some BULLSHIT SOHC timeslips
Back to back NA runs..........
Back to back nitrous runs the next day at other local track
Notice how even they are..........
I also have ran EVEN with a C5 vert from 50-130 mph.
Stock SOHC + ZEX + normal bolt-ons.
Some can drive, some can tune, a select number can do both.

Let me bolt-on a simple blower from a SLK, and I'll run 13's all day long. **** a Heavy *** Del Sol with a STOCK D15 went 14.1 at Norwalk in July HEAT.
Drag racing with consistancy is an art. Try running 13 passes within .03 seconds and RT between .520 and .550........Wanna Bracket Race?

you should easily be in the 13's low 13's at that. I have a 88 hatch that i have a best time of 14.08 on my all motor ls/vtec. I have a s1 tranny b18a block, pr3 head with cold air intake, 2.5" exhaust, gsr cams, fpr, and that's it. you have springs, retainers, a clutch, and pistons!!! get some slicks and take it to the track you should be able to hit about a 13.7 at least. i've seen stock gsr's in crx's hit 13.6's and you should be making more power than a gsr.
Try driving a 850 hp Supercharged 502 BBC on the street with 315/50/15 Drag Radials...........
Feathering is THE ONLY way to drive the car.
As for you stupid CANUCK remarks...........
Spend $3000+ on a swap + buildup, or spend $300 on some real tires.

hes B16A1-EF8 i am running race gas
but i can run 93 if i retarded the timing and dumped alot of fuel in with the fpr and the vafc (i know i am losing alot of hp but i rather be safe until i get it tuned on the dyno)

talk about stupid remarks, i'll meet ya on the street, you with your slicks and me with my street tires, who do ya think will win mista boner?? thats right, me, and then we'll take the cars to a real race track, one with turns, you on your lame *** slicks, and me on my street tires, and i'll spank you again. theres the difference between wannabes and real drivers, you go straight with cheap methods as in nos and cheap nittos, while i spend the money and see that it was all fun, but then you gotta move on and sell that shitty civic to buy an s2000 like i just did.booya!
, the question was for NA 13 second quarter mile time, and me asking a bunch of idiots like you for 13 second timeslips to prove it on a NA run. then you go showing a pass on squeeze like some dumb *** corn fed fat pig. anyone can hit 13's with squeeze, my buddy runs high 12's with a d16 on squeeze, big deal, but it does mean one thing, that he is a better driver then you cuz he runs quicker times mista boner. get off your high chair dude, running squeeze aint the ****, and neither are you!
my post says i want to run 13's NA and i need some tips on how i don't plan on using squeeze or any other forced induction set u[ how can i i already chose one way NA (ctr pistons against a gsr head =12.something:1) i am keeping it NA so i need some tips form others who are running a set up like mine to give me a little input thanks
