Icon2 94 B18B1 swap into 97 Del Sol D16y8 HELP

Ok, First let me say I have been searching for hours and am confused on exactly how to do this swap. I have a 94 B18B1 engine (manual transmission) I want to put into my 97 honda del sol si (d16y8, manual transmission).

I have the correct ecu (pulled out of the car the b18 was in and running perfectly) and a OBD2a to OBD1 ECU jumper harness. I have both the obd1 and obd2 engine harnesses.

My main questions are:

1. What wiring will I need to do for my specific del sol chassis. (already have obd1 to obd2 distributor jumper harness).

2. What mounts will I need to keep and/or replace? ( I have all the b series mounts from the b18b1 ls integra motor and obviously my d-series mounts). I will have no A/C but am keeping my power steering soooo...

3. Will my d16y8 power steering pump/bracket bolt on to the b18?

Lastly, I would like to add this bit of information as it is imperative I do, This engine was just pulled from my buddys 95 civic hatch and is turbo'd and tuned as well at 285 WHP @ 9psi (on chrome) the o2 sensors are bypassed so no need for them, the b18 has no knock sensor, my y8 obviously does (forgive me if im adding obvious or unnecessary info, rather have it than not).

I'm not to worried about the turbo part as I am my 3 questions. The B18 was running freakin awesome in his car and is complete, including turbo, dyno tuned ecu and all.

I have the b-series axles as well, everything I need, just need these questions answered as I am not sure if the 97 del sol si chassis wiring and mounts differ in any way from a 97 civic ex.

Hopefully my info is clear and not confusing, again forgive me if it is. ANY INPUT TO HELP ME WITH THIS SWAP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED IN ADVANCE!!!

Thanks HondaPartsHero.

Still have some questions not answered though, as far as motor mounts go, which ones do I need to use (like off what year and model) The front tranny mount off my buddys car (the civic hatch it was swapped into is different than mine) also the mount plate on the opposite side was not even on his (no place for it to mount into the body if you know which one im talking about near where the ac comp. would be). My Del sol has this mount plate on it but the bolt hole patterns look different. I didnt have a chance to inspect them both side by side yet though.

I have also read that you need a different rear t bracket (the one on the tranny) is this true?

Thanks again for any help!!!

Also the b18 has blue top dsm injectors with resistors already wired in, in your link HondaPartsHero it says use your obd2 injectors, what kind of issues will i run into here?

Just use those (blue top) injectors if you already have the resistors wired in.
As far as mounts and shift linkage if you have all the mounts and shift linkage that was in the EG you should be good to go as they share the same bay essentially.

I think this might answer your PS question
