My car starts to shake wen i reach 40mph and then it goes right way a sec later. it does it all the time. My friend told me it could be my wheel bearing going bad and i need to lube it up.. I hear a noise sumtime but not all the time.

How bad is the shaking? Slight or jarring your teeth out?

Does it happen only during acceleration?

 

Not tha bad, but gives my steering wheel and shift **** a good shake that you can see it happenning.

Nd yes it only happens when im accelerating.

 

Maybe your frontengine mount is broken... common problem with the EP3s! my front and rear mount broke lol... wait till u hear the sound it makes when the rear one goes!

 

could be a bad axle... in my old accord once we hit 3rd gear it shook like a god damn earth quake~!

 

I also had a few Honda axles that would shake like crazy under hard acceleration. Broke them doing burn outs at the drag strip. Replaced them and the shake went away.

If it is only during acceleration it is probably an axle, but I wouldn't rule out the motor mount, like Trixz-x said.

Check the tires first. Make sure they are not out of round, make sure the wheels aren't bent, get them balanced, and if you still have a shake after that, check the motor mounts and look into replacing the axles.

 

it could be the axle. I think i hear it something when i get out my drive way turning left. I can sometimes hear a noise when I'm coming to a stop, but that hardly happens. Ill check the motor mount too tho jst to make sure.
