can i put fiberglass filler to fix my polyurethane front lip
Hi i want to know if i can fix a polyurethane lip with fiberglass filler duraglass? Will it hold and bond good?
Plastic welding. Why you'd consider filling with a different material when the junkyard is full of the same material, I can't imagine.
can i use the plastic weld thats in a tube i saw in an autostore. can i sand it then add filler bodyfiller or fiberglass over it
Get a scrap bumper of the same material. Heat and melt the scrap into your damaged piece. Work with just plastic, no filler, no fiberglass.
Skip the epoxy in a tube. Glue is not welding.
Again,to repeat myself:
3m 5887. Flexible plastic repair. U will need a bottle of there adhesion promoter as well. Try and fix things with same/ like materials. Different materials shrink and expand differently and will show up in the repairs later on.

I dont understand what is the real one made of?
On another note listen to what the guys in here are telling you try to use the same material to fix the lip you can use fiberglass to fix it with no issues but its much harder to get a crack to keep from showing signs of the repair in the longrun.Lips tend to get hit or hit things often and it will usually cause the fiberglass to seperate from the urethane/plastic that the lip is made of.

you shouldnt use fiberglass filler on a plastic piece, mainly because the plastic piece is meant to be flexible... cured fiberglass filler is not.
plastic welding still works, but is an out dated method... you should go with what has already been mentioned in this thread, and that is:
