Ive only owned my RSX about a month but it is killing my back, im not sure if the car being so low is playing a factor but im only 25 too and never had a car hurt my back.

 

Have you tried adjusting the lumbar support on the side of the seat?

 

I bet anything they are the 02-04 style, i didn't care for them one bit. I was happy to sell off the set in my 02 in favor of the 06 design, the difference is "night and day"!!!!!!

 

They are 2002 you called it and i have messed with the lumbar and feel no difference

 

05+ seats are sooo much nicer than 02-04

 

Is there really that much difference in the 02-04 seats and the 05-06? I just bought an '03 RSX

I only suffer from back pain if I drive more than 2hrs, but usually this can be solved with a more upright seat position (stop that gangster lean). The most comfortable seats I've ever had for back support were Sparco Sprint seats with fixed backs.

 

^^ Yes, night and day difference. The newer seats are better in every way.......

Side bolsters have more support, as does the back. The seats are more heavily cushioned, and last but not least, they are built with better material and wear much better.

my 02 seats are the worst thing ever.. it's become priority #1 to fix this.. i drive about 6 hours every weekend and plan to borrow my mom's SUV next time cuz i can't take it anymore

between the shitty seats and being lowered/dealing with potholes&traffic in NYC i just get so fed up.

 

Yea mine hurt my back too, I thought I was just getting old, hehehe! It's an 02 as well. That last pic reminds me that my interior needs a good cleaning

 

I tried to find one of those back support cushions but couldnt so i just folded up a towel to add some support and its alot better

 

I upgraded to the '06 style seat in mine and it made a world of difference.

 

Im glad other people agree with me I hate my seat with a passion. Guess im gonna start looking for new seats.
