Default Mounting the Sparco...

I'm having a bit of trouble mounting the Evo3 (6'5" 235lbs) in my integra. With the Sparco adapter base my helmet sticks slightly above the top of the cage. I'm not sure how safe this would be or if it's against any SCCA/NASA regulations.

If I do away with the adapter base I will need to remove the front left stock mounting bracket and just bolt the seat's side brackets through the floor.

Any experienced input is appreciated.

Different seat, but I had to make my own brackets, due to my height.

Good Luck!

I just finished fabricating my Evo2 mounts last night. I used sparco side mounts (because they were free with the seats) and made base mounts very similar to the ones pictured above. I'm 6'4" 220lbs and I have a ton of head room now. I guess I know what it's like to be short now since I'm looking out right over the top of the steering wheel.

I could take pics tonight if it would help.
