wanting to k swap my rex
The car has a 95 ex motor in it now but was never rewired for obd1. im wondering how much work would need to be done to swap a k series? i know ill need hasport mounts and such just wondering if the are in mods need to the engine bay etc....
Well there aren't many fairly complete packages on the market the best and most complete in my opinion is from K-Tuned but trust me a K swap is a ton of work compared to a D, B, H swap.

right now they have K20a for $5,300 (before shipping and handling) which comes with the Motor

you'll need to talk to them and K-tuned to mix and match to get all the parts for a full swap, any duplicate parts can be sold.
shop's run between $80-$100 an hour for work, and a swap would take around 4 hours MINIMUM.

that's before replacing internals or boosting it...
$10,000-$11,000
for no more than 250 horsepower?
it's really not worth it.
p.s. swapping into an EF is 100x harder & more expensive than swapping into a EG or EK.

Do it! Dont give up on the crx, I love my kswapped crx. I peiced my kswap from parts here and their. Took me about 2 years but I was happy at the end. And yes the clutch thing is a pain in the *** so just get the suja1 kit...... Alot of people told me to switch to eg or dc chassi but i said "nah"..... It is way easier but wasnt what i wanted. If you find parts on the net you will save tons of money. Do it
