Radio/rear window defroster were fine before the accident 12/2011. Now when I turn on the FM radio and the rear window defroster at the same time all FM stations (factory radio) go to static. Insurance won't pay to trace issue unless I can 'prove' accident/subsequent repairs to blame. Body shop has torn the car apart at least twice and claims they can't find anything.

Has the rear glass been replaced do to the accident?

Was the damage on the side where the radio is (right rear)?

 

Rear glass wasn't damaged in the accident but they did have to take it out to replacee the driver's side quarter panel.
