Well I took off my mount and checked the inserts, They are the U62A bushing. Im running a ls vtec turbo setup and I think these bushings are worn out causing my avid solid torque mounts to be the only thing supporting my motor on the drives side. I have a nasty vibration ONLY at 3k RPM and its annoying. I am thinking I want to replace these hasport bushing with a stronger durometer. What ones are you guys running and how bad is the vibration. I see they sell 62A(street) 70A (race) 88A (extreme race) and 94A (most extreme Race). Im wondering what will be best for my car 450 hp pump 600hp c16 I drive it on the street a fair amount and my goal for the track currently is a mid 10.
I have the 70a and it does vibrate pretty good for a street car. You get useto it though. I wouldnt reccomend anything higher unless its a 100% drag car
I had the 62A and the 88A with the Avid torque mounts and couldn't tell a difference in vibration, with the Avids it seemed to not matter. so i would just get the 94A or solid, depends how hardcore you are.
i just installed 5pc. mount kit what i was told were 62a shipped directly from avid, car shook as if they were solid mounts. im not too sure about their durometer rating

how can you tell what durometer you have? i just picked up a set of hasport mounts second and not sure what i have. thanks....dont mean to sound like a noob.
If you press the pin out of the center of the mount, you can pull the bushing halves out. On the inside of the bushing, it will have the durometer number molded into it..
