Icon2 94 DX coupe and 94 Integra LS transplant project

Just to start off, ive done some research on all questions but for some would like a more conclusive answer. I currently drive a dc2 integra and it is pretty fun but the body is beyond my capabilities and my budget is overly tight. I have though, found a 94 eg coupe thats just sitting around at a shop outside of town and will be getting it quite cheap. Im also partial to the color. And the fact it has no rust.
Now i know i can swap the motor/trans, brakes, seats and dash. But im curious as to any other parts my integra has that the coupe doesnt or are better on the teg

Using the Integra as a donor vehicle is the smartest way to keep costs under control on a project such as this, and those of us who have been at this a while tend to do it that way for just that reason. It also supplies you with parts that are compatible with one another, and eliminates a LOT of guesswork.

Best thing to do is to keep the Integra around until you finish the swap and have everything changed over into the Civic. Doing so will provide you with a valuable source for all sorts of small items and hardware along the way.

You will still need to buy a set of aftermarket mounts to install the B18 into the Civic, but you will retain the rear t-bracket from the Integra, along with the left side bracket on the engine. You can use the Integra throttle cable to avoid the need for an adapter bracket, and things like the Integra hoses and such will crossover as well.

The rear brakes are a bolt-on swap using the Integra rear control arm assembly, but be sure to get the parking brake hardware from the Integra, too...along with the master cylinder and proportioning valve.

Depending on how you plan to approach the project, the Integra will also supply you with the wiring you'll need, if you elect to keep all of it and use the Integra harnesses.

In short, you can pull this off with very little left to buy from the aftermarket. Having a parts car makes the process so much easier, and a whole bunch cheaper that there's really no other sensible way to go about it if you're on a tight budget and wish to complete the job in a timely fashion. Still, you owe it to yourself to take the time to inspect all components removed from the donor vehicle and make repairs and upgrades as required before dropping them into your Civic. By that, I mean it's a good time to clean all of the components, replace any aging seals and gaskets along with things like the 02 sensor and other general maintenance items. Better to do all of that now...before the engine and transmission go into the new car, than to have to go back and mess with things like that later. If you do everything carefully and methodically along the way, you'll end up with a reliable, clean and safe car to drive, and it won't break the bank or take an endless amount of time to complete. Put the money you're saving to good use by replacing all the belts, hoses, thermostat, etc, etc as you go and the car will look and perform it's best for a long time to come. Best of all, you'll enjoy the satisfaction of knowing that you've done a quality job and that you did it in the most intelligent way.

I plan on getting the civic running good as it needs a full tune up and a battery and then driving it while removing things from the integra. The motor will get torn apart and rebuilt. A friend of mine has a built/bored b16a2 he said he would sell me. But i think im just gonna do an ls/vtec using the golden eagle kit. Im going to go about the process very slowly as to insure quality. Ive helped my friends with their cars and sometimes dont like how they rush. If i can take an extra hour and be completely sure things are cosure. Ill take that route. My overall goal is a nice, clean, slammed, oem+ look. Once i get the civic and start the build i plan on doing a full thread. Just wish i had mommy and daddy money like some of the guys i know. Haha.
