Default Heater Controls will not turn off

I have a 96 accord with a 2000 H22 Euro-R swap. Recently I started having a power drain issue that I can't seem to cure. My heater controls will not turn off (also my blower motor). I've checked my fuses and replaced the heater blower relay with still no luck. I noticed my one fuse box says fuse for heater control relay, i pulled this fuse and the heater control continued to have power and I'm not sure if this goes to the heater blower relay I also replaced or not. This is frustrating....

Is the control cable disconnected from the valve?

The heated coolant passes through a valve in the line between your engine and your heater core. The degree that this valve is open determines how hot your heater core gets. There's a push/pull cable that runs from the temperature **** in your dash to that valve. Take a look near the firewall for the coolant line leading into the cab. There should be a valve on it. If the cable isn't attached, this may be your problem. I had this trouble on my '90.

why would a cable driven valve have anything to do with why my heater controls refuse to turn off as well as the blower motor? and yes it is still connected because not only do I have resistance, but the temp does change when I move the ****

unfortunately for me its an electrical problem and my next stop is the resistor

Normally its a bad climate control assembly. I would swap in another assembly from the junkyard.
