I got some prelude fogs for my EF, I wanna throw some 5k hids...the question is, will the hid bulbs fit since it has the capsule? And if they do fit, will the hids burn through the capsule?

 

I opened mine and removed the cap and square plate. The H3 hids do not fit with the caps. 5k low beam, 3k in Prelude fogs on my hatch, I light up everything lol.

 

do any of you have a write up on how to install the fogs? mostly how is connects to the support

 

You might be making custom brackets, go to lowes get some steel brackets and do some bending, its really not that hard, take some time. I was lucky with mine, installed on a WW front bumper and just had to drill a hole above and inside the bumper I put some metal brackets to support the weight with a bolt

 

I cut the lip section on my support and drilled a hole and used the stock brackets

 

yea i saw a picture of someone who did it on a crx and it was very simple i was wondering if it was the same

^^^^you did that you fakin liar I did all the work while you laid in the couch bish………but yeah just cut the lip of the bumper support and drill a hole and just use the stock brakets ……also I got h3 hids on my fogs they fit fine but I kept the capsule so I recomend using the 3k color if not they will look different color not yellow
