Default D15b7 into 2000 em1 ?

Well here's the situation I happen to have a a d15b7 sitting around that is in decent shape I was considering doing a Vitara build on it a while back
However
I have I also have a 2000 si that has a b18b1 in it that needs to be looked at outside of the car I think I may have the timing off a tooth it idles at 3k it also is mated with a cable trans ( which has been the biggest pain)

it has the hydro to cable conversion kit and I've been trying to get it rite for a while now. And now I'm beginning to convince myself the pressure plate must be bad because I've bleed the system and still can't disengage the clutch even with pressure when it's running to put it in gear
So I was thinking about perusing putting in the d15b7 I was just curios which dizzy starter and alt I'd need for the swap to work and also what additional wiring I'd need to address ?

Being a tooth off wouldn't make your car idle at 3k.

'96 - '98 Y7/Y8 distributor, '96 - '00 Y8 or B-series injectors, '96 - '00 D-series alternator, OBD2B to OBD1 conversion harness and P06.

For mounts use a '96 - '00 D-series mounts and brackets.

Also, hydro to cable conversion kits rarely work right. If it's a YS1 cable tranny try to find a hydro case and just swap the guts, if it's any other cable tranny I would just spend the money on hydro tranny and be done with it.
