Completely new to the car/honda scene

Can anyone tell me what I need to know about getting into JDM and/or Honda scene? I would really like to get an EG6 since it's cheap and I heard parts are cheap too. Any advice for a noob?

Get the car you like most and do what you like to it. Screw cookie cutter scene cars.
