Default bent kickstand

i bought a used CBR 600 F4i and the previous owner bent the kickstand to get it to lean over farther. How hard would it be to bend it back?

Are you sure it wasn't "bent" so that it could accommodate lowering links?

Also, I wouldn't trust heating and bending it back. Not saying it won't work, but it sure puts a lot of stress on that portion of the kickstand and be weakened (you're not doing a steel hardening). Buy one on ebay for a few bucks. It's worth the peace of mind.

just get a new one man. bending it again will weaken it more than it already is. its worth the money to get a new one, or just bend it back and hope your bike doesnt fall over every time you leave it somewhere lol

I had one break once because I "fixed" it.

I'm going to say, just get a new one.
