JDM DC5R 17s: How bad does it feel on our Rs?
Nice looking wheels which i got quote from a distributor used with tires for $1k.
How bad does it makes our R feel in performance vs. handling? I know they looks
good but big and heavy! The other factor is my R is FBP and to me white looks cheap on the car. Any inputs appreciated.

A set of the gunmetal DC5 17s would look good, but I have no clue how they'd affect the cars performance. I don't know enuf about the wheel and it's specs yet.

If you're getting the tires off DC5-R, then I think the aspect ratio will be off when they are used on DC2-R. I think DC5-R uses 225/40/17 (??).
Also, if you don't like the white paint, just powder coat it GM.

I agree..... what's so bad about it.... sometimes when people paint their rims black or what not.. to me, they look ugly as hell... but oh well... I guess that's just me... everyone has their own taste.. do what you like--it's your car.... I want a set of those rims too, but not as much as I want a set of the 2002 CTR rims in GM though...

I do like black rims.... wouldn't mind getting a set of Spoons... but man, get a set of white rims and everyone disagrees..... they are still OEM wheels... function over everything... no matter what, they are still OEM wheels... but like I said... sometimes... certain black rims just look ugly... makes certain cars look like they're running on donuts.... oh well, everyone has their own taste....
