ECT sensor electrical connector
Long-time lurker, first-time poster. I've got a 91 Accord LX Automatic with a number of issues.
While trying to find a small radiator leak, I noticed that while the sensor was still screwed into the block, the guts of it had corroded to the point of simply falling out. Replaced it. However, there is plastic from the old one irretrievably stuck in the connector with the two wires leading away from it.
Is there a source for this part other than clipping out an undamaged one at a junkyard? Seems pretty generic.
Also, for a few months prior the car has been doing that random cutting out that many others have experienced: tach drops to zero, car may die right away but more often stumbles a bit first. Could this plausibly be caused by that iffy sensor connection momentarily dropping out and causing the ECU to flood the engine, thinking that it's cold?
Thanks.

Yeah, just get it from the junkyard.
That tach problem is caused by a sensor in the dizzy. When the shaft spins it makes a connection with the sensor that tells when it's TDC. You could try to swap out that sensor or just get a new dizzy.
