Sup guys. When i swapped my trans and head on my civic, i bought a new front lower motor mount. The one coming off the front bottom of the engine to the frame. Is the center hole in the mount suposed to be quite a bit larger than the shaft of the plate it slides onto? Theres some slop in it when you have it slid on to the shaft. Thanks

 

It's normal. If you look at the washer it's keyed to fit the flat spot on the stud.

I have found the same thing on my 98 ex y7/y8 build I cant see how that could be right if you look at the first pic in the thread linked below you can see there is 1/8" all the way around the bolt. Why would the be a 1/2" bolt in a 3/4" hole.
