Hey...looking for the best lightweight rim and slick setup for the front of my Civic. They will be for the strip only...so it don't matter how they look. Any suggestions? Who makes the best/how much/where to buy?

I have not run them on my car yet, since I'm waiting for my Quaife LSD so I don't break my differential like I did before (on street tires mind you)
My friend ran the HX wheels on his 95 LS 4door and dropped from 16.1 with street tires to 15.64 with the slicks. 60' times were only about .1 sec better too. Being able to launch of 6K and keeping the RPM up helps a lot.

 

Any idea what the VPD rims weigh??

Most actual measured weights I've seen are 9.5-9.7lbs

Bogarts. The only way to go if you want lightweight.

They run about $725-800 for front only.
