90 crx si. Thumping from rear tire/tires
Put so much money and time on this thing. Now a old problem becomes worse. I hit a pot hole and my right rear rim took a beating. After quite awhile I got a new rim, shaking gone. Now theres a thumping duh duh duh duh noise coming from that tire and most likely the other. It only makes noise around 25mph or over and the noise goes as fast as the tires roll. What could cause this. The strange part is when I either take a left turn or right turn following the road, not an actual turn, the noise seems to lessen until I go straight again. Brakes have no effect when I press them in. Wheel bearings? Bushings? Any help gladly appreciated
Check for knots in the tire. Take it of car and rub your hand across it for any lumps and put it back on. Make sure you got all lug nuts and tighten them. Not calling you an idiot but I have about a car a week come in with knocking from the rear and the lug nuts are loose allowing the rim to wabble
I didn't get new tires. I could get the tires and alignment checked for free. I'll check for bubbles or any unordinary tread wear tomorrow. Lug nuts all tight I even checked it with a torque wrench.

Had the same thing. Overinflated my tire to 80psi because of a broken gauge. Replace the tire(s). Sorry for shitty cellphone pic, but it's still obvious in the photo.
Dang! You're lucky you didn't end up with a hoof hand like a Harold and Kumar inbred cyclops baby!

Thanks for the info everyone. Well I took the car to discount tire where I got the tires from falken ziex 512. Had a guy come out and look at it. He said there is cupping/feathering wear on my tires making the tire uneven on some parts which causes the noise. I'll get my car aligned and wheel balanced tomorrow and see if it helps. Maybe my rear toe went off from the last adjustment. My suspension is good pretty much new tokico blues with h&r lowering sport springs, although I only have a camber kit up front. Not sure what would cause it. I looked at the tires myself and didn't see anything major besides the inner and outter edges of the tires wored down from when I had no camber kit
