rear crossmember replacement??
have a piece that bust out of the front rear crossmember...Does anyone know how hard it is to replace from under the car?Dont want to pull motor...let me know guys im new at this stuff
You don't have to pull the motor.
You will, however, need to disconnect the steering knuckle (under the dash by the pedals)
disconnect the rear engine mount
disconnect the suspension arms
then pull the 4 main bolts under the crossmember and it should come out.

It's easiest if you remove the exhaust manifold/down-pipe as well. (I should say you must remove it...)
You will need someone else to help you put it back in. You have to line up the steering u-joint simultaneously with the steering rack being installed. It may be easiest to first remove the rack and pinion first and then the rear crossmember.

be careful when u unbolt the steering knuckle. make sure you turn the wheel both left and right and count how many full turns it makes. if you turn th wheel after the knuckle is unbolted, your alignment will be ****ed if you dont set the wheel back to the correct spot when you reconnect the steering parts.
