99 dx hatch crank fluctuation sensor
so today i was driving and my cel randomly turned on, so i pulled over and did the old paperclip trick and it flashed code 54. i looked it up and it said crankshaft fluctuation sensor, so does this mean the sensor is bad? i just rebuilt the engine about 2500 miles ago after having all the machine work done at the local machine shop. car still runs perfect with the code present and hasnt lost any noticeable power. also what could cause this?? im new to honda and new to this website so sorry if theres already a thread out there on this i didnt have time to look around lol any needed details i can provide. thanks ahead of time for the help!
Make sure it's plugged in and the wiring hasn't broken going to the sensor.

You can bypass it as well
