Yup,I saw it run a 8.8 at atco in 98,the 1st time it broke 8s in the US.

 

HKS's Drag 180sx (same as old school USDM 240sx here) runs 7's.

Or did you mean stock chassis 240sx's?

now that i think about it,the Lime Green Jun car i saw didnt have a sr20det 4 cylinder,it had a Six,i believe it was a 2.6L when it was stock.

 

It probley had a skyline swap

 

i ran a s13 (240sx) with a sr20det swap....it was pretty fast...i lost by a fender cause i broke traction 1st, 2nd and 3rd...sorta mad about it, but it was my fault for runnin him on shitty nitto 450s..check around kazaa, my friend got it on video and people were dl from him...by the way i drive a 5th gen hatch w/ a bone stock b20vtec swap..

 

nope the jun car did run a SR20DET.. but it was punched out to 2.2l

 

13.1 is the fastest that I have seen with my own two eyes. This was a street car in every sense of the word.

A friend of mine recently went 11.44@119 in his 89 240 making 457 whp and my brother went 12.78 making 303 whp in his nissan truck.

A friend of mine who owns a shop has a 90 240sx with a sr20det in it and at the last CMI in August he hit a 12.0 with a 1.65 60 ft on slicks of course. At the time he only had an additional fuelpump, gutted rear interior, full dash, a front mount and a 30 shot. It was totally street legal and registered. Since then he's completely gutted it, no fuel tank, dash, sound deadening, hollow doors, lexan all around, added a cage, a greddy intake manifold, upped it to a 50 shot, a 3 gallon fuel cell. he should be easily low 11's now if not 10's.

That wouldn't happen to be Duhy's old car, would it...? 96-ish gold S14 coupe, built KA with a monster turbine? Saw it run a while back at HRP.

 

where were you when you guys ran? because my friend use to have a 89 s13 hatch (sr20 swap), it was black and i remember him running some guy down in industry with a 5th gen hatch with a cr/vtec swap.

i've only seen one good working sr20 swap, and it was my friends, even people from cartune cant get their customers swap running great.
