Default Type "R" tech - any answers???

Could somebody check on the lower flange bolt for the muffler clampdown joint on the 1998 type r and let me know whether or not more bolt torque would hold the bracket better? Or should I loosen it? it seems to loosen by itself so i though if i put a big edelbrock sticker on it, it might hold

i read on another forum before that it would. i was just curious also as to whether or not i can attach a turbo to the muffler joint clampdown bracket in order to obtain a more aggressive muffler tone. i heard edelbrock makes a good muffler bracket but it also comes with an optional fart tube. Will that help my 1/4 miles times?

Joey, my friend with a 2002 type r, attached one on and said his times improved by.0001 second but he said the type r was too slow so he was going to get a turbo'd chrysler lard poop...he said that's better

the lard poops throttle response was better than the type r's he said, but he liked the type r looks so he put the type r decals on the lard poop's turbo. he said it didn't work so well but he got some good looks at the fourth annual chrysler showdown

and chysler's optional fart tube turbo is said to increase hp by over. 00001 %, but it cost 500 dollars... do you think it's worth it to buy this and put it on my type r or do you think i should wait until the spec 2 turbo comes out? then i could attach that to my hood and maybe it would increase the turbo velocity sound. but then again there's the headlight decals i would rather spend my money on

but i heard that if you attach a fart front to your intake air chamber and tie wrap a turbo to the resonator, the vtec will kick in sooner cause of the different sound and vibration

does anybody out there know about any of this stuff?

Yee ha...I'll answer your question...yee haaaaaa!

First you go damn der mix sum mule chit wit yur gasoline. Da methane and sulfur gases will turbo boost yur motor by 50%.

Do this before the next time you race your friend Jimmy. His 3 toothed grin will be all you'll see in your rear view mirror. It is an easy mod that you could probably do while your on a date with your cousin Sue.

First, we can see your new. But what your asking is ... well unreasonable.

2nd Could you tell me what a "with an optional fart tube" is?
3rd What country do you live in?
4th Also what is "he was going to get a turbo'd chrysler lard poop..." ?

please start with these questions first.
If I understand you answers I'll try to help you.

no no no...don't use the edelbrock sticker...i think a holley one would do a better job holding up the muffler.

i'm not sure but he's getting the one with the optional ground effects package and rear wing - gt spec i think.

and to the other guy: i'm not sure what the fart tube meant, my friend knows all the lingo so i think that's just the slang term for it.... must be some sort of filtering tube that works in conjunction with the muffler or something..

also, does anybody know how to check for spacer cracks that occur during high speed on the front, underhood, hose clamps? The ones that hold the electrical box and then route over to the intake igniter. I also have one of those edelbrock type r intake manifolds and i recently noticed a crack in the main housing. should i contact edelbrock for repair ideas or just leave it?
