I have a 00 ex civic. I just swapped a 98 d16y8 into it. I used 98 i/m. I currently have 00 harness dizzy and ecu in it. It surges once warm. If I swap back to 00 i/m with air injection and plug holes in manifold will it set check engine light or run bad. Im tryin to buy as few parts as possible and just get buy. I cant take the surging anymore

What intake manifold gasket did you use? 98 or 00? You can't use the 98 manifold with the 99-00 gasket

 

Its a 98 intake gasket. Did have extra piece for air injection. Also no vacuum leak.
