Well, they call it a cold air but if those pics are of actual product it's just a short ram. Honestly, I don't see how they can sell that sh*t that cheap and still turn a profit.

Yea I want the filter to be the same place it is from the factory (beside the battery).

Just go to eBay and find the cheapest one you can. There all pretty much the same. I'm sure someone here will argue but I don't care.

A short ram is good, but you can also use a K&N drop in filter with the stock air box. There are arguments that it works as well or better than many of the aftermarket setups.

The price of that kit shipped is $30. Most decent size k&n filters are almost that or more.

Why even bother with an intake? Is your stock one damaged?

Trying to clean up the look under the hood. Possibly get a little better mpg maybe even a hp or two.

Plus have you seen where the stock setup pulls the air from?!

I would buy one off ebay and later get a real k&n filter or find a AEM off marketplace or local craigslist.

That's a good price. I might have seen them cheaper on ebay. not sure. They are all the same.. all the no name ones, they last man. Nothing wrong with them.. I haven't had any problems with the couple that I've owned.

It's a metal tube, rubber couplers and a filter. Really hard to screw up. The K&N is more, but it's a quality filter. Your stock box should have a resonator below and a tube above the radiator. There's nothing wrong with it unless your engine is a monster.

Well I got home yesterday and the intake was there. So I installed it yesterday and it went pretty smooth. They supplied all the clamps, cuppler, and the quality was pretty good overall.

The fitment was ok, could of been a little better but for $30 it was well worth it. Ill try and take a picture this weekend and post it up.
