jtc still makes them. a lot of people love the forbidden short throw shifter, but it's difficult to find.

I just recently installed a weapon r short throw adapter onto my wagon. Got it new from ebay for $15. Does it's job, and for the price, no room to complain. Keeps me from searching high and low for a long discontinued pspec or forbidden piece.

Thanks perfecteverytime going to look into the jtc. if the forbidden is hard to find then they are probably going to go for a pretty penny.

its worth the $15 to hold you over during your search for a true short shifter. its not close to a gsr with a short shifter, maybe its almost as short as a stock integra shifter, but its worlds better than the row boat throw of the stock accord shifter.

OEM Prelude 92-95 IIRC is shorter overall but not by much.

4bidden is one of the best along with Pspec, both are discontinued and are rare to find.

I have the adapter on mine, it shortens the throw but not the actual length of the shifter, Ive seen people install and chop a few inches off their shifter but that would be up to you. It also depends on how much you want to spend.

How do you like your JTC shifter? Any feedback on it? How long did it take for you to receive it after the order was placed?

I wouldn't suggest the cheap ebay $15 ones. I've heard of people pulling hard after shifting and it jams and you can't pull it out of gear. Heard it with multiple different sources. I'd go safe and do something a little less, "you get what you pay for" kinda thing

Is JTC not making these shifters anymore? I looked all over their site and couldn't find one. I don't care if I have to drop 150$, I want the SS for this car. The row boat is driving me nuts.

I only drove one car with a short throw shifter and loved it. I would like to have one on my beater.

JTC is making an adjustable version for all models so just wait until they release it. It should be soon.

Can the OP or anyone else with one post some pics of the aftermarket shifter? I am modifying my stock shifter and was wondering about the differences on the shift arms and throw distances
