Last time I used a Bar's Leaks product was for my leaky headgasket...yeah, that was $30 down the drain
XD;
But a trans is a little different...I personally prefer Lucas products though

Or MTF, if it's a 5 speed. Talk to the parts people at the dealership and see if they can get the "old" formula for you.

Any problems with the tranny? If not don't add anything, I have not had any luck with additives.

Is it leaking? I doubt it. Yeah, don't add anything save for what the service manual recommends -- and I believe it recommends regular 10W30 for manual trans oil on a 92-95. Nothing fancy.

use MTF its only 1.9 qts in a 5 spd tranny for a D series. 10w30 can be used as a Temporary if need be

well like i said its my daily, and yeah it has a slight leak and also tends to shift hard every now and then. i just was looking for something to give it a little TLC instead of just putting new fluids in it.

any recommendations for any other additive or ATF to use?
its a 95 ex d16z6
