i got an eg coupe and was going to put a roof rack on it to cary my bike found a yakima roof rack but was wondering how bad it messes up the roof i herd thule ones mess up the roof more any input?

 

What kind of bike do you have?? You can allways haul the bike in the trunk or even get a rack for the rear to haul your bike..

 

If you put some old rags or some rubber pieces in between where the roof rack feet sit and the body, you shouldn't have any marks on the car when you take the roof rack off. I've had no problem with my Saris roof rack.

 

I have a bmx bike and a mountain bike and i had the bike rack for thr trunk but my pegs keep scraping and denting my trunk lid

 

Also was wondering which brands are better than others for roof racks

 

Your choices are basically Thule or Yakima. There's some old school stuff out there like TERZO but it's pretty rare.

 

OP You should check out www.racksolid.com I found the rack on my old car their and they pretty much have every relevant brand.
