Default JDM one piece headlights fog lights question

After some reasearch, and to clarify the information found through searching, I'm forced to post the following question:
-Does anyone have a write up on how to properly (legally) wire the fog lights? I.e. for the fog lights to turn off automatically when the high beams are turned on.

The write up found (https://honda-tech.com/forums/lighting-107/how-jdm-itr-hid-headlight-fog-light-wiring-2195061/) says "the foglights will now work whenever the parking, low or high beam lights are on and the switch is on."

Fog lights are not supposed to turn on/stay on when the high beams are turned on. Provided the fog light switch is on, they are supposed to automatically turn off when the high beams are turned on and turn back on when back to normal driving lights.

Any assistance on this matter will be greatly appreciated! Thans in advance!

What you can do, just takes a little bit of knowledge of how a relay works, you can wire a relay normally open I think it is and have ur power come from your switch, run ur switch off of an aux line that will have enough amperage, then wire the trigger from the high beam switch so that when you hit ur high beams the relay will cut power to ur fogs.

Thank you for the info. I'll share this with a buddy of mine who's going to be helping with the wiring. Let's just say he know more about this than me.

Thanks! Wiring done. Vehicle passed inspection. Time to put some miles on it!
