Default top fuel turbo kit

Hi, been searching through hundreds of threads all over the net and most lead back to here. I got one of these kits two years ago and have been gathering all the parts i needed and I am now finally starting to get the ball rolling on the build.

My questions, the kkk k26 turbo which comes with the kit, how do I tell if it's a ball bearing turbo and if it is how do I go about putting a resistor in place to stop the oil that going to the turbo from blowing the seals. This is something which my engine builder told me to find out.

Also with block vent's where are these ran too??

Cheers

venting should run to a catch can, oil restrictors go inline on your oil feed to the turbo. you bought a turbo and you don't know what it is? i just googled it and its a 36lbs/min airflow with a t3 flange and 4 bolt downpipe. some are bb some are not im not sure how to tell im not familiar with these turbos, maybe someone else can chime in.

I bought a whole kit about 2 years ago off a top fuel demo car. I've been buying bits and pieces as I go along. I'm good with NA but not really too clued up on turbo set ups. I was considering buying another turbo but as this one is in good condition I want to give this one a go first. Cheers for the help

Pretty much most of the ball-bearing turbos will be water-cooled EXCEPT the newer PTE BB turbos. (I THINK)

So if you don't have 4 fittings (2 for oil, 2 for coolant/water) then I think it's pretty safe to say it's non-BB.
