How do I tell if the part I'm buying is really from a R, or isn't from a GSR or Si and the person trys o sell it as a R part? I know about the block codes, but I am refering to smaller items like throttle body, intake manifold, cams, ect...

 

buy from someone who has references from h-t members ONLY

have them send detail close up pics of the item in question with a card identifying their name in the same pic...

then ask a knowlegable source if the part is authentic

thats the best you can
but as with any internet transaction, theres allways risks involved

 

the manifold will be easy to tell from the other stock manifolds in a pic

 

it also has "p73" mark at the back of the in. manifold if that helps.

 

other items also have P73 tagged, just look closely and do your research well.
