Default fixed sensor on transmission but ....

The check engine light came on and the the car starting the jerk a lot and but continued to shift fine.... Now it doesn't shift and only drivable on D2 and I have to press down hard on the pedal to even reverse the car... What seems to be not working... Is it the torque converter or an engine problem... I have a 2002 honda accord ex with 131000 miles on it

Check fluid and all connectors, Drain fluid from Tranny on the left (From front) its a circle with a 1/4 drive(ratchet without using a socket) slot rotate and fluid will come out take about 4 quarts out go to autozone get rislone http://www.barsproducts.com/catalog/...ak-repair-4502 i had similar problems i put quarter of rislone in followed by 2 qrts started moved thru gears then rest rislone followed by 1 n 1/2 qrt tranny fluid. let it run for a few minutes then moved thru gears took for spin and by the time i got at end of street i felt the life comeback to the tranny its been working for about 2years now no problems. its worth a shot and worked with my buddies civic also. P.S. Walmart sells import tranny fluid cheaper then autozone but gotta go to autozone for rislone. Hope this helps

I would not put that in the transmission.

Are there any codes stored in the PCM?
