what kind of mounts are they? I believe the Place Racing mounts will interchange. I'm not too sure about any other mounts.

:edit: B16A tranny will work with the B18B, and no other wiring involved.

b series parts are just that.. b series parts.

with that in mind.. your B16a and B18 use the same mounts

wiring is same but you will have 4 extra plugs. vtec related if you put in the b18b. and only 3 left over plugs if the b18 has a knock sensor.. i'm not sure.

The 90-93 B18a motors came with the same drivers side engine mount (motor side) as the 1st gen B16 like the one you already have in your CRX.

The B18b driver's side mount will need to be changed to the one like on your B16 to work in your chassis.

You can use your existing B-series kit (HaSport, Place, etc,.)

but if he has a 1st gen jdm b16, pre OBD, then wouldn't he have to have some changes to the wiring to run a 98 LS ecu and change it all to OBD-2. and the same for the dizzy and injectors, all non OBD now, it is a 98 integra LS that he is getting the stuff from.
