Default TPS sensor problems :/

Hey guys, i tried searching arounnd and found threads on how to caliberate a TPS sensor. My problem is when do it i constanly read 5.0 volts, and it never changes weather i move the sensor or not. I have the negative at the battery and the red wire back-probed to the yellow on the TPS sensor wire. And it read 5.0 and wont change at all. if i put the negative on the middle wire it read .033 volts and wont change if i move the TPS sensor or the throttle either. Im kinda lost on what im doing wrong. I can upload a picture or video to show you guys if that would help. Thanks

Garrett
