2006 Accord leather seats
I looked at a 2006 V6 6 speed this weekend with the black leather interior, and the drivers seat was starting to deform. The car only had 75k on it, and my last leather interior Honda was a 94 Prelude, are there issues with the leather on these newer Honda's or was there just some very large person sitting in it the whole time?

Kidding aside, true, the owner was not a lightweight, but more so that's how the seats are. If you think that is "cheap," try the "leather" on the 8th Gen.
There are leather seat cover/replacements on ebay for $600+. I don't know where or if you can buy only two (front).
Maybe another question would be if you could swap the front seat cushions, just the part your *** goes on. In this car the passenger seat is perfect, and I wouldn't care so much if I could swap them.
Not sure if there is a difference between the left and the right. Perhaps you can search the parts number and compare before you start.
Don't have any experience working on it, so maybe others will chime in.
This is kind of off subject but speaking of leather seats, what are some good leather cleaner and conditioner products? I read that many of the leather products sold at the auto parts stores do more harm than good on the leather seats. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So my thoughts are, a lightly moist rag to clean of the dirt so it does not became an abrasive when your butt rub against it. Mild soap and water once in a while to remove oil and dirt.
With that said, I do use a leather care product. That's mostly to provide a shinny and slippery seating surface. It make me feel better that I doing something to protect the leather interior. I just use Armor All leather care.
Short of a Rolls Royce or Ferrari, all leather seats in cars are top coated. This means, nothing will really penetrate the protective coating. Once that coating is cracked, you are SOL.

Can anyone recommend a good replacement or a cover for the seat? I've spoken with some upholstery companies but not sure if they are offering a cusion replacement. I'm not sure if I'm developing some bum sores from sitting on mine and trying to get the front seats replaced.
