factory alarm keeps going off whenever plugged in
ok so i have a friend with a 2000 ap1 and we were going through it and it turns out his factory alarm box mounted under the drivers side seat was not plugged in. so we plugged it in, we were also inside a closed garage. needless to say our ears hurt for a while and couldn't figure out why it would not stop even after he pressed the alarm button on the remote.
i was wondering if anybody had any ideas how to fix it and or why it is doing that.

s2000's don't come with alarms, a dealer or some idiot installed that... half-assed it, and now your stuck having to rewire an s2000...
I'd bring it to a good car audio shop with car alarm experience, (this does not mean best buy or circuit city, etc)

ill take a picture. it has factory abs control module and alarm system. even has the oem wiring. its just a little black box
Also, IMO car audio shops are the worst place to bring a vehicle with wiring issues. I've seen too many twisted wire and electrical tape connections to trust those idiots. I'd rather fork out 4 hours of Honda labour to have that fixed.
