Default Overdrive question

Hello everyone! I have a 1993 accord ex with 223k miles on it now. It has the F22A6. I had the transmission rebuild about 15k miles ago because the differential bearings were shot. No that there is somewhat colder weather here in Minnesota, the car will not shift into overdrive until it has reached operating temp. I pretty much have to drive about 5-8 miles at least before it will. It shifts 1st-4th perfectly all the time. No slipping,, etc... When it gets to finally go into overdrive, around 50-55 mph when it does, it shifts fine. I don't have any cel light or codes from either the tcu or ecu when I jump the plug in the passenger kick. Is this normal for this car or do I have some problems? Any help is appreciated!

Memory tells me the overdrive/lock up does not happen until the ECT detects temps above X. Too lazy to look up the exact temp, sorry.

Ok sounds good. I also tested both solenoids and main and counter shaft speed sensors. They all tested perfect! I appreciate your help! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy. lol. I will see when it warms up outside if it works normal as well.
