Hey guys, my girl's car just started making this strange noise in the back left wheel area whenever the car is moving. I think it might be the wear indicators on the brakes there but I am not positive as this seems pretty loud to me even for wear indicators. I took a quick video below, it starts on the back right side (you can hear the noise there too) and moves to the back left wheel, where it is very loud. She has a 2003 2dr Accord EX. What do you think it is?

well... have you gotten in there and taken a look?

seems fairly normal to me if your brakes are gone

haha hand brake was the first thing I checked!

 

I never let my pads get that low, so I've never heard the brake pad wear indicators, but I would guess that's what it is. I would definitely remove the wheels and check it out.

 

Yes. The rear pads need replacement.
