oil in my engine bay .. best way to clean ?
Good quality degrease like Simple Green Extreme and a pressure washer and compressed air.
Best done on a cold engine, wet engine down, cover everything with Simple Green alow to sit for a bit, pressure wash off, repeat if needed, use compressed air to "dry" off the engine, don't forget to pull the spark plug leads and blow any water out from the spark plug wells. 94

Simple Green works... Purple power kicks a$$ on cleaning oil and grease! Best on warm (not hot) engine, spray it on and let it soak a few minutes then pressure wash or use a pressure nozzle on your garden hose. Repeating this process if needed or desired cleaner results. Be careful to limit exposure to this stuff as it is a mild acid and will dry your skin to the point of causing cracking. Not nice on the nose or eyes either.
purple power FTW!
becarefull not to get it on finished metals! like a intAKE tube or on the top of a SKUNK 2 pro manifold! it tends to leave it DULL

There's a cleaner called RMC the best stuff I ever used if you can find it use it you will never remeber another cleaning agent after I promise.
Here's another secrret for really tuff thick grease use wd40 or any penetrating lubricant the grease slides right off.
Don't wet your battery or alternator. Don't wet a hot head/or header.
Clorox works too.
