2000 civic hx o2 sensor conversion
The upstream primary o2 sensor is bad in my civic, unfortunately it is a 5 wire, o'reilly quoted me $350 for a new one, while a generic 4 wire Bosch that would fit almost any other civic is only $50. I've heard it is possible to wire a 4 wire sensor into a 5 wire harness, but i dont know what the wire colors mean.
Car info:
2000 civic HX 1.6L non Vtec
not sure exactly what engine it has because the car was repainted before i bought it and all the tags were painted over but here is a picture of the ecu tag.

The wire colors on the O2 sensor side are:
Black
grey
blue
white
yellow
The wire colors on the engine side of the bracket:
Red
Black x2
Yellow
white
Black w/white stripe
green w/black stripe
by going through the service manual, im almost positive that white is the signal wire, other than that does anyone know which are the heater and ground wires?

You will not be able to get the car to run correctly with that 4-wire O2. You must use a 5-wire wideband O2 with the stock HX ECU in order to run correctly as the voltages produced from the expected wideband O2 are much different then those of that 4-wire O2.
Rockauto.com has the O2 (Denso 2345052) you need for about $170.
