I recently bought my accord and wanted to beef it up and i heard about the supercharger, does it actually work? Is it worth the 5000$ to spend for it? Is it better to get a K&N air filter?

 

you can't even compare a k&n filter to a supercharger...a k&n filter will only yield 1-3 whp, a supercharger is a form of Forced Induction...which gives atleast 100 hp to the crank.

 

You comparin a 5000 dollar s/c to a 50 dollar filter? What do u think?! What do u mean "does it actually work?"

 

Ah....Get HKS SuperMegaFlow filter...better than K&N.

A Comptech S/C is less than $5000.

 

I have the April/May issue of Honda Tuning and they have a featured article that is a 3.0 v6 Accord with the Comptech supercharger and it the accord had 230hp
i don't know what the stock hp is but 230 is madd good
it is about $4,500

 

know someone who will be selling his SC>. not sure on price. but will tell once i know for sure
