Default ECU ( help please!)

Hey whats up HT.

I am sort of confused on what ecu i need to get in order to get my car bar'd.
I have a 97 civic ex coupe, with a jdm 99/00 b16a. (obd2). I have been running it for almost a year. People have told me to get a p2t ecu or p30. Can someone please tell me which one I really need and if they've had the same issue before?

Thanks

97 civic ex

You get the ECU for the engine. Someone refresh my memory but do they even BAR JDM engines?

Wouldn't he need the p2t to pass bar?

Sorry, I am in California. So if they don't do jdm bar'd, what can happen as far as legal issues?

Thanks

Like I said the rules change all the time on of they bar jdm engines or not. Idk what the rule is right now, call your ref. You won't be able to use your ecu if its jdm. You will need a usdm ecu
