Default Philips HID D2S fit loose...wtf?

The d2s bulbs's base is shorter than a stock 9006 bulb. Here's a link to the pic since it's so huge.

Notice that the base of the regular 9006 is higher and has red rubber ring around it while the philips d2s bulb has nothing.

I remember people having fitment issues but couldn't find anything so please help!

Phillips does not make the base for the hid capsules. Blame the base problems on the manufacturer of the kit.

Could you put the rubber ring around the D2S bulb just like in the 9005 conversion??..My fitment isnt as snug as id like it to be also!!!

Could you put the rubber ring around the D2S bulb just like in the 9005 conversion??..My fitment isnt as snug as id like it to be also!!!
I did that and the fitment issue was gone.

uh...i have no problems with the aftermarket HIDs on the JDM headlights..call hiper industries, or go to turboevo.net talk to the email the guy tony..he might be able to help u out
