Hi guys. I just picked up a 5 speed wagon with 198,000 miles a couple weeks ago. i havent had a honda in several years so its fun to be back. The car has a pretty noticeable (shakes the car) engine/drivetrain vibration when accelerating from 2000 - 3000 rpm range, most noticeable in 2nd and 3rd gear. I was suspecting motor mounts, but im not good at all at diagnosing issues like this. I had the stock exhaust re-piped to fix an exhaust leak, but the vibration doesnt seem to be coming from there. Anyone have any suggestions? If it is a motor mount issue, is there an easy way to tell which one(s) need to be replaced? TIA.

 

Could it be an engine miss? 2K - 3K is typical clogged-EGR-ports RPM range. EGR isn't operative when the engine is cold; does it shake when it's cold?
