I want to know the difference in seats for the CRX. I have seen ones with CRX on the backrests and ones without. What models came with what? Which ones are rare, if any? The reason I ask is that I found a EDM CRX here in a junkyard in Germany, and it had the seats in it, with the CRX in the backrest and a line pattern. This particular CRX had rear disk brakes, said 1.6 in the back and had the little bulge in the hood. I don't know anything about CRX, only EJ(EK), that is why I am asking.

Those are pretty rare, and worth a good amount of cabbage in the US. I believe that it's one version of EDM seats; definitely not available in the US.

The ZC hood you described is also in demand, esp. if it's in very good shape.

 

Wow, good to know. I can get the seats for 60 bucks, and all the other parts for really cheap, the bad thing is I don't have a lot of storage space.

Yeah, these ones definitively don't have the red in them. Also, was the ZC hood ever available in US models?

Nice, I think I will be picking these items tomorrow. Any other parts from this model that I should keep? Gauge Cluster, fenders, lights? The car in the junkyard is pretty complete, except the rear seats and wheels.

 

Fenders if they have side markers on them, I think the cluster is different, not really sure what else.

What kind of shape are the tail lights in?

I really need a set of tails.

The tails seemed very good condition. The fenders have side markers. I won't be back in the US for a while but I will be able to ship some of the smaller items if I want to sell them.

I run these seats, in Europe they would be found in 90-91 1.6i models. They are nice because no gray, only the dark charcol with red lines in them and lumbar

Here are some pics of the car and its condition.















The signal lights are sprayed with paint.





Hood has a spot of rust in the passenger side corner.

 

Now here are the pics of the seats and gauge cluster, which are the only two items I picked up.

Passenger side seat is in great condition, other than the small burn or spot pictured on the second pic.





Driver seat, has a little bit of wear on the side bolster, also, foam on side bolster is torned, you can feel the gap and feel the frame.







Gauge cluster is in good condition, other than the cracked lens where the bottom screw is, but it's not noticeable once installed. Cluster has 404,449 Km, goes up to 240 KM/h, and redlines at over 7,000 RPM.

 

You can repair those seats. All you need is some thin foam, hog ring pliers and some hog rings to put it back together. Important thing is that the outer skin isn't damaged. I redid the bolsters in my car, makes the seats feel like brand new!
