One side of my fogs/hid's is brighter than the other? Help!
So i noticed that the left side of my 8k hid's and my yellow foglights are brighter than the right side. Also, the right side soemtimes doesn't turn on on the first try and i have to turn them on and off multiple times until they start. I have the fogs wired up to the headlights since i thought it would be easier that way and they would turn on when the headlights turn on, which is true. So now how would i fix this issue of one side being brighter than the other? Anyone had this happen to them before? Thaks in advance!
Did it do this BEFORE the HIDs?

Look into a retrofit. HIDs are not the best lighting upgrade out there. Even the aftermarket halogen lights sold at places like Auto Zone are a better/easier upgrade compared to HIDs. Before you go dumping money into an HID kit, please at least consider your options.
You need to wire them separate from each other. (Headlights separate from Fog lights)
You also might need to wire in a relay inline with the fogs so the fogs have direct battery power.
Toss the Ebay crap, and go to DDMtuning.com They have the best PnP HID's for the money with lifetime warranty on both bulbs and ballast.
LMK if you need help, I know my way around electrical things

& alright ill look into that for sure, thanks alot!
So they are NOT wired according to the manufacturers instructions? Seems to be a lot of you having lighting issues lately because of custom/incorrect wiring.
Yeah. Thanks for clarifying but it still doesn't change anything because now all anyone is going to tell you is to wire them correctly. I've bought two HID kits from the Marketplace vendors and never had an installation issue when following their installation instructions.

yes please go with a retrofit like someone said eariler.. just putting hids in to reflector housing isnt the best thing.. yes it'll be brighter but it will also glare.. reflector housings arent meant to handle hids.. it'll scatter all the light and thats what causes the glare.. real hid projectors will put the light where it needs to go.. the cutoff will be nice and crisp and no light will go past the cutoff..
it also doesnt help that youre running 8000k.. the higher you go in temp, the less usable light you have and the less lumens youre putting out.. your eyes adjust and you see better with the yellow/ white.. thats why 6000k is the highest you should go with hids..
i saw someone post ddm tuning... they arent great either.. customer service isnt great.. there was someone that found out that their bulbs arent the real temps.. like 6000k would be the same ask 8000k.. its pretty much the same as any other china brand out there
the reason why your hids fire sometimes is not only is the quality not that great with the bulbs and ballasts, its because you have the fogs wired with the headlights also and no relay harness.. hids take more amperage to start up that halogens.. the stock wiring isnt going to handle that amperage so thats why only one turns on at a time.. now that you added the fogs also, you are putting more stress on the wires and could cause sometime to fail.. it could possibly cause a fire.. run both the headlights and the fogs off a relay harness and that should solve the problem of them not firing..

Ah, I've had the same issue. I payed $120 for my HIDs and they have those times where one side doesn't start, and have to keep turning them off and on a few times for them to both go on. One of the bulbs has a slightly different color/temperature than the other. It's normal though.

Save and do it right the first time. Dont be so eager that you waste money on junk. Ive been piecing together a quality turbo kit for months now...I really want to just slap it on but I know the pay off will be way better if I patiently do it.
