FS: B18C1 hybrid - built motor with 0 running hours (Langley, BC)
First off, I'd prefer a close to local sale to avoid having to ship this thing. I'm in Langley, BC.
Selling my project motor. It's nearly complete, I built it from scratch so there's a few things I would have needed to get it running. So what you're looking at is pretty much a brand new motor built with some used, completely reconditioned parts but mostly brand new parts.
All the machine work on the block and head was done at Burnaby High Performance to the tune of $1500. They do awesome work.
Engine build runs down like this..
It's a GSR motor with LS internals which I guess you'd call a hybrid. Put together this way for some added torque.
There are Innovative Race mounts shown on the motor which are available if needed (they're for an EF).
GSR block - Sleeved (GE)
Port Flow Head
Ferrea titanium valve train
ITR Cams
Victor X intake
Manley Turbo Tuff Rods (LS)
Endyn Roller Wave Pistons (LS) 9.5:1
Crank (LS)
Machine work/Labour @ Burnaby High Performance

- Clean old parts + cradle c/w Re+Re oil plugs
- Deck + min surface block
- Bore + hone ductile sleeves + 3mm
- Allign hone mains, c/w Re+Re dowles and cradle
- Boil + polish crank 800 sfi
- Balance Crank
- Drill, Mil + remove custom head dowels
- Final wash block + parts for assembly
- Assemble short block
- Wash cyl head c/w sand surface
- Make and install head dowel bushings
some more info on the bottom end build..

- Rod bearing clearance - .0017"
- Top Ring Gap - .020"
- #2 Ring Gap - .022"
- Crank End Float - .005"

Misc Hardware (all Honda)
Honda GSR oil pan
Skunk2 billet oil cap
Hondata GSR heatshield gasket
Golden Eagle head gasket
ECU jumper harness
ATI Super Damper - Street
Golden Eagle fuel rail
Misc aeroquip fittings / lines
MSD pro billet distributor
I'm asking $4600 OBO for a motor that's never even been started. It cost me $8k to build minus the turbo which I've sold and I have every receipt to prove it. Lots of pics of the motor build can be found
here: LINK
I am not interested in parting the motor right now.
Accepting offers but please don't lowball, it doesn't take a genius to see it's already an awesome deal. I'll even throw in the engine stand to help you get it home.
This motor could make well up to 1000hp.
If you're interested, please send me a PM as I'd rather not list my phone number. Thanks.
